Roost Laptop Stand
Super small, super light, and the anchor of my go-bag. This stand, my Touch ID keyboard, the Magic Mouse, a trackpad and the MacBook, plus a wall charger and the AirPods Pro, and I can work remote anywhere for hours in real comfort. It folds to almost nothing and lifts the laptop to eye level wherever I land.

The verdict
On my desk since May 2026, and it scores 9.0 out of 10.
Everything above comes from running it on real call days, not from a spec sheet — the flaws worth knowing are in the trade-offs, not buried in a spec table. How I rate gear.
What works
- Folds to almost nothing and weighs next to nothing in a bag
- Lifts the laptop to eye level anywhere, so remote days stay comfortable
- Sturdy and height-adjustable despite the tiny folded size
- Premium price for a stand
- Raising the laptop means bringing a separate keyboard and mouse (which is the point)
Scored on four things
How it earned a 9.0
Build that lasts Judged after months, not after the first hour out of the box.
Call-readiness Quiet clicks, no focus hunting, no fan noise, light that flatters.
Comfort at hour six How it feels late in the day, not in minute one.
Value for the money A cheaper pick that does ninety percent of the job often wins.
