ALTSON 10" Video Conference Light
The light on my desk for calls. My office is not the most glamorous at the moment, and doesn't get great light in it naturally or from my overhead lights. It is not fancy, but a 10-inch full-screen LED with brightness and color dials, on its own stand with a phone holder, fixed how I look on camera more than any webcam upgrade ever did, for a fraction of an Elgato. If your video looks flat, this is the cheapest fix on the page.

The verdict
On my desk since October 2025, and it scores 7.0 out of 10.
Everything above comes from running it on real call days, not from a spec sheet — the flaws worth knowing are in the trade-offs, not buried in a spec table. How I rate gear.
What works
- Even, flattering fill light that lifts any webcam
- Brightness and color-temperature control right on the unit
- Comes with its own stand and a phone holder, so it works for calls or filming
- The stand takes up desk space
- Turning the light on and off via the charging cable is a bit of a chore to reach back and get to
Scored on four things
How it earned a 7.0
Build that lasts Judged after months, not after the first hour out of the box.
Call-readiness Quiet clicks, no focus hunting, no fan noise, light that flatters.
Comfort at hour six How it feels late in the day, not in minute one.
Value for the money A cheaper pick that does ninety percent of the job often wins.
